February 19th,2018

The long wait is over and we are delighted to say that our first foals of 2018 arrived this morning. Follow The Faith (Piccolo) gave birth to her second filly foal by Sixties Icon just after midnight and it’s fair to say that she’s the spitting image of her full sister. Follow The Faith is a three part half sister to Group 2 winner Rileys Keepingfaith and a winner herself. A fine big mare, time will tell as her first foal will go in to training with Mick Channon in 2019.

Keen to get in on the act, Hairspray (Bahamian Bounty) produced a half brother to Group 3 Epsom Icon in the form of a Kodiac colt who arrived at five o’clock this morning.

In the middle of writing this, at six o’clock in the evening, Zarafa (Fraam) gave birth to a Kodiac filly, making her a half sister to last year’s Group 2 Balanchine winner Opal Tiara. Mick Channon was on hand to see it having arrived to see the two born this morning.

Our next are due in six days, and although all three of today’s arrivals were overdue, our next few mares, Rough Courte and Ificaniwill look very forward.
